Property Stars Awards Evening

The year, 2019, ended with a bang at DTS Attorneys as we held our very first Property Stars awards evening jointly hosted and sponsored by DTS and Greyvensteins Attorneys. I believe that the partnership between DTS and Greyvensteins Attorneys in hosting this event jointly was truly unique. It must be taken into consideration that the event was new ground for both firms and many decisions had to be made jointly without the advantage of knowing the outcome.

Despite the challenges which facethe organizing of the event it was a roaring success!

Upon reflecting on the evening I recalled the title of Bill Mariot’s book in his hotel chain named “The Spirit to Serve”. I believe that this phrase epitomizes the mutual co-operation between the two law firms as both firms operate from a deep rooted believe that it is not about us, our money or our comfort but all about putting the needs of our clients first.

This Spirit to Serve is also the reason why our two firms managed to successfully co-host the event. It was not about ego’s, flash or shine for any individual but indeed about giving back to the real estate industry and the agents in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, without whom neither of us would have been successful.

Looking at the winners and runners up in the respective categories I identified that exact same spirit to serve. I firmly believe that sustainable businesses share a client’s first vision and that is indeed easily identifiable in our top estate agents.

So at the end of 2019 my message to you is to forget about all the negativity, which is worldwide issue.  Focus on what you have in your hand and how you can use that to the advantage of your clients, friends, relatives and the greater society. If we each adopt such a mindset, 2020 will be a great year for all of us.

Kind Regards
